Default Problem with network shares

I use a network share in my VFS to allow me to access my MP3 folder which is located on a 400mhz computer about 15 feet away from my other computer.

In version 4.x.x it worked fine/great

In version 5.1.3r I have yet to be able to get it working. The / will not list when I have the network share added to the VFS, the line is below:

"\\XBLADE\MP3" /MP3

thats the line in my VFS for the network share, all the other folders are local and work fine.

in beta 4, it works fine, in beta 5, its not working at all, however the odd thing is I *can* change to /MP3/, and then thatll work fine. it just wont give me a dirlist when I am in / of the folders - gives the following:

LIST
150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for directory listing.
426 Connection closed: Connection timed out.

It's not a PASV problem that has to do with a router or anything like that, the site works 100% when I dont have the network folder in there, so its 100% the network folder.

Anyone else have this problem? Is it a confirmed bug? Is there any fix?

yeah I have

I'm wondering if it has something to do with when my machine is not online.

it has a sketchy LAN cable, and sometimes I turn it off, and on beta 4 the folder just wouldnt be accessable, but im wondering if that has anything to do with it - ie, if its not accessable nothing in the directory lists at all
