Default ioftpd.ini tips and tricks to boost performance?

could we have some optimization tips and tricks for the ioftpd.ini?
All those settings at the beginning of the file ie. Would be nice to know if changing some of those could boost up the performance. Some tweeking tips from the developers themselves.

Thanks,

h

There's an old post by darkone that explains optimal thread settings (it's still relevant to Beta-5.x).
http://www.inicom.net/forum/showthread.php?t=9070

You can also experiment with different buffer sizes for control/data channels, but the default values should suffice for most people and most connections.

I am the only one working on ioFTPD, so I am from "the dev team".

That post by darkone thoroughly describes the thread configuration options. The socket buffer options are pretty self-explanatory (if you don't know what they are, you probably shouldn't be changing them in the first place). Apart from those options, nothing else will have substantial impact on the performance of ioFTPD.

Just because you don't understand some things, don't assume no one understands them. There are plenty of experienced ioFTPD users who understand them very well.
