Closing cmd When Eggdrop Is Running

I have my bot running in eggdrop -nt mode. But when I close cmd prompt, the bot dies. Is there any way to keep the bot running when I close cmd?

you could start the bot hidden. In that case you also would run it in -nt mode but cmd window wouldn't be shown.

For that you need a window hider. I think there is one available here in the forums.

if hidewndw would been used there would be no cmd prompt anymore to close ...

start hidewndw /r /n 'c:\programme\Windrop\eggdrop.exe -nt eggdrop.conf'

as sample for hidewndw.exe ...

or use a service app like firedaemon, etc ... there u also have a option therefore
