Default Unexplained error, please help..

i have just purchused a high speed server, and decided to move my ftp on to it.
so i rared my install (that was working perfectly) and installed it on the server.
it crashes when i exec ioftpd.exe with a error of
'Unhandled exception 3221225477 at address 0x769c1a83 (0x00000000)
0x00000000 0x769c1a83 '

now i have had this error before, so i checked all the necicarry things for this such error,
incuding the .ioftpd bug, emptey spaces in GroupIdTable/UserIdTable improper .vfs editing, hosts.rules, etc..

all checked out ok. so..
i decided to install a fresh copy of ioFTPD-beta5-8-0r thinking this would solve the problem.
it did not.

if anyone has any suggestions on what this could be, please dont hesitate to reply or email me (gillismark@hotmail.com)

is there anything that needs to be installed prior to installation of ioftpd? such as .net framework or such.

thanks,

Using Windows XP Pro SP2

what changes did you make to your configuration? one of those changes is likely the cause; it would be nice to know which one.

you might try also reverting to 5.8.5 and see if the problem goes away.
