Default accidentally deleted "users" folder

since i can't post in the Knowledge Base section i am forced to post here. admins feel free to move this post.

this morning i accidentally deleted the "users" folder for ioftpd and now im not sure what to do. do i redownload the 0.5.84u beta or can i find a "dummy" user file somewhere on the site that i can use as a "master" account to create the other accounts on my server?

Redownload ioFTPD, replace /users and /groups folders and /etc/GroupIdTable and /etc/UserIdTable files of your installation with default ones. Should be enough.

But better make backup before

i've downloaded the beta from this site, but can only access the anonymous account. arent anonymous accounts unable to really do anything to the server (gadduser, deluser, and such)

You should be able to log in as ioFTPD. What error do you get?
