Default login with blank passwd?

why i can't login with blank password

By default in install of ioFTPD the account is ioFTPD/ioFTPD above logger and to configure the other accounts with their permissions

That's probably not what he meant. ioFTPD expects at least one character as password when the client sends the "PASS xxx\r\n" command. If u want a user to login with any (non-zero-length) password, u can give him the A flag. But "PASS \r\n" will not work by design.

You can't change a password to "" anyways, you'll get a not enough parameters error as it wont recognise yuou enterred anything.
For anonymouse its accepted practise to use email address as password.
So theres no reason why anyone should be logging in with no password that i can see ?
