Default [ENG/GER]Question about F / f Flags

Hi guys,

I have a little question about the these two flags:
# 'F' - FXP DENIED (DOWNLOAD)
# 'f' - FXP DENIED (UPLOAD)

Everytime I set these Flags to a user, this user is still able to use FXP (although he shouldn't be in my opinion)
So, do these flags really work? Or am I just doing something wrong. I only want to prevent serveral users fro using FXP.

in german:

Hi Leute,

ps: I use the following Verions/scripts:
ioFTPD 5.8.5r
ioBanana2 (ioB2) release1
ioA 2.0.5
windrop 1.6.16
Warchive 2.1
ioIsotope

these flags are recognized and used in ioftpd. from my (incomplete) look at the code, it looks as if they *permit* fxp, not deny.

can a user fxp *without* these flags? that isn't clear to me from your post.

so far i'm only toilet tubing the code, so appologies for the narrow view of things from here.

Well, I checked and checked it all over again this night. deletet ioftpd and reinstalled (not with all scripts, only with ioA). now the flag seems to work. before reinstalling it definitly doesn't.
maybe it was in conflict with some script, i will do further checks
