Default Character Encoding?

Hi,

Does FlashFXP have any kind of recognition for character encoding?
I sometimes send a bunch of MP3s that have Cyrilic names.
They always show up as ?????????????.mp3 and of course wont transfer or anything.
Windows seems the filenames just fine, so does FileZilla FTP client.

Thanks

The latest beta release has limited support for character encoding. Support is limited to ISO 8859-1. Specifically UTF8 characters that can be maped to the ANSI character set.

All of the internals and components only support ANSI strings, To upgrade or replace all of the components with ones with unicode support would require alot of time and resources. Unforunitely within the givin time frame we are unable to meet this goal.

We hope to provide support for the complete unicode character set sometime in the near feature.
