Faster UI for activating and deactivating sounds

If I start a big transfer and go to sleep, I have to turn off sounds unless I want to wake up to my transfer complete noise (which is hilariously annoying). I can't turn my speakers off because my computer's my alarm clock, and I find the noise useful when I'm not trying to sleep.

Is there a chance that the "Enable Sound Events" toggle could be a menu command or function key in the main program interface instead of a tab deep in options?
