I recognized an improvement on the newest Beta(s) for FlashFXP
- Added Retry Failed Site to Site Transfer Setting.
First of all, this is very good.
Second, i would like to have an even more enhanced options-field.
Sorry, but i didn't even checked the new beta(s) out yet, but i suppose it is not available yet.
The Case:
- I set "if file exists = auto skip" on the global Filter Exist rules. (FXP mode)
- Now i fxp some files from A to B. (lets say 20)
- 5 files are not transferred correctly, due to an error.
Current solution: new option allows to set a retry fxp limit
Problem: 3 of the errorous files were sent partically, for example they were all 10 MB in size, but only 3, 4 and 5 MB from each file were sent. Now the following thing happens: Because i applied the "On file exist rules" to AUTO SKIP in FXP-mode, all files aren't re-send, regardless of what my settings are at the "Retry Failed Site to Site Transfer Setting.", because they do in fact exist already.
Enhanced solution: add an option to have an alternative site-to-site xfer method (in this case resume instead of skip) if global method fails for "Retry Failed Site to Site Transfer Setting = variable x"and it works, also with how many retries the user wants.
I hope this was understandable
Edit: this option is for example needed, because many ftp's doesnt allow to del or overwrite, so setting a site specific fxp method wont help at all.
