Default Integrated nfo/diz viewer?

Hello,

I'm interestend in different linux distirbutions, I regulary download different free versions. 99% of them are on FTP Servers, to download these I use FlashFXP.

But one thing is annoying: Very ofter there are .diz or .nfo files attached. And to view these I must download them and open them in an external viewer (I user DAMN Nfo Viewer, it's free and good). It would be great If you would integrate such a Viewer into FlashFXP. So you jsut gonna rightclick and nfo/diz file and then it automatically downloads it into a temporary folder and opens it in the integrated Viewer.

Please let me know what you think about this suggestion :-)

Btw: FlashFXP rules :-)

You can do this,

Options > File Associations

Assign *.diz and *.nfo to open in the internal text editor.

Thanks for your reply!

This works so long, but only for local files. You can't do this for remote text files, can you?

But it doesn't work
When I doubleclick a nfo file on a remote ftp server nothing happens. Any idea?

you need to right-click on the file and select view.

Although you can change the remote double click behavior to view file. From the menu, Options > Preferences > Advanced Tab > Double Click [remote]
