Default Check for upgrade using proxy server
I think it would be useful if Flash could check for an upgrade using the proxy server settings specified. Otherwise you get the error: "Error: can't resolve hostname to IP address".

You can configure it to use a proxy, click on the option button located in the Live Update. LiveUpdate uses HTTP so it is seperate from the normal FTP proxy settings.
