If anybody has ever used
Eudora, they'll know what I'm talking about. ALL of the data files (mailboxes, settings, etc) are stored in whatever folder you specify during application setup.
I would like to see something similar to this in FlashFXP. I think that the files necessary to be stored in a custom data folder would be:
-bookmarks.dat
-quick.dat
-FlashFXP.ini
-favorite.dat
-skiplist.dat
-Stats.dat
-sites.dat
I think this is handy for a few reasons:
-For those who like to boot between multiple OS's, they can use the same settings files for FlashFXP on different partitions, if they specify that FlashFXP place it's settings files in a logical partition.
-Easier to import/export settings to and from different FlashFXP versions
-Easier to make manual backups of data files
