Okay, I see what you mean and I AM grateful since I was one who
asked for this. In a reply to pathfinder (his system crashed) you mentioned
that autobackup might always be a good idea, with or without a password set.
So my point would be to let the securityfans in a multi-user environment
set the password to protect things and not let all users set protection to
be able to use the backup feature. But I guess that's not your position.
Anyway, my sincere thanks for this feature in the first place.
For those who may find the following line from the Helpfile still
puzzling:
Set application password on startup FlashFXP.exe -pass="<pass>"
--
after you have set password under: Sites, Security, Set password,
in the properties of your shortcut it should read:
C:\progra~1\FlashFXP\FlashFXP.exe -pass="yourpassword"
--
of course when you have installed in Program Files by default.
