Question hey bigstar, help me out here please

Its like, the problem is this:

I use windows xp professional edition. Weel, i have two network cards, one to my local network connection and other to my internet connection, a cable 256kbps.

Well, the problem is that when i share my internet connection to the local network, i just cant fxp from server-to-server. Why that? When i unshare internet connection it just works fine. Would there be a fix for this problem?

Note: I used the latest beta version release two days ago [not sure, but the latest].

Thanks anyway,

Are you using ICS ? if so there are numerous posts about this problem. I personally had 2 network cards with same setup, and always found using winroute to share the inet connection was the best & most reliable way.

Never effected FFXP's functioning.

Search this board about ICS if your using windows version of sharing inet.

Internet connection sharing is not compatible with FXP. This includes ICS, NAT, and perhaps other forms of network connection sharing.

In some cases you can get around the problem by running the FTP server on a non-standard port, for example rather than port 21 use port 2121
