a problem about "Parent Directory"

I have a problem. When I click the "Parent Directory", the directory will return last layer. But it is physical path. Is there any method that when I click the "Parent Directory", the directory will return last "virtual" path layer?

For example....

vitrual path physical path
================================
[Tool Area] D:\Tool
[Image Process] E:\ImageProcess
[OS] C:\OS
[Multimedia] F:\
[Movie Area]

There is only one behavior of the Parent Directory and this is it. If you want to change to the previous folder, you will need to use the drop down list box and select the previous path.
