Export accounts

It seems that one cant export 1 or more accounts in "Site Manager".
Is it just me who is stupid or is it imposible ??

Sometimes i need to send 1 or more accounts to some friends and it would be smart if i could export those accounts/site´s and my frinds then could import them.

Anyone knows about this ??

site-manager accounts or sites are generally viewed as personal. If we were to allow exports, it would deeat the purpose and security of having encrypted passwords. I suppose one could export everything except the encrypted parts, but bigstar may have an opinion.

you can use copy url feature once you are connected to a site.
it'll be in this format
ftp://user:pass@site:port/dir

hmm i would also like to see a export function, cause it suxx to add all sites manuall when using another ftp client...

other programs like cute ftp, wsftp etc offers export and import from other clients, but i still miss the option to import flashfxp bookmarks, so a built in exporter would be very useful...

i just backup my sites.dat file everytime i format.. and put it back on and sites come back fine

A solution is a password protected export function. During install, a password could be asked. Without authorisation, nobody would be able to export the list. An export feature is handy for various reasons. Sometimes I forget a password or I want a list with cleartext information for a script I've written.
