Unhappy problem with listing
I am at a school where we are on a network that uses a proxy server to connect to the internet. i am trying to connect to my friend's server. i get on and log on but when it tries to list the directory using ASCII mode it wont bring in the listing of his directory. it tries and then fails and disconnects me! any help?? i really need help. i checked the port and it is clear, that i am using.
