Question about ftp to ftp transfer

Does anybody know, when transfer files from one ftp to another ftp, does the total amout of files transfer count as the bandwidth you download, or it does not. I am asking this because my internet service only allow me to download 20 gig of stuff a month. thank you

no it doesn't becuase files are transfered directly from one server to another bypassing your connection
