Hello,

FlashFXP is a FTP client. Not to be confused with a P2P file sharing program.

The person you connect to cannot see any of the content on your computer. In order for the person running the ftp server to obtain files from you must upload the files to them.

Thanks for your quick reply.
Well, it looks like i am trying to use the wrong tool!
Would you by any chance be able to suggest a safe, not too complicated P2P file sharing program that i could use for this purpose ?
Thanks in advance, Linda

You can use a vast number of options to share files with friends restricting some directories of your HD. One quick option could be using the simple FServer (File Server) that mIRC (an IRC client) has, another option is to install and configure a FTP server (I recommend to you Bullet Proof FTP Server, easy and quick to configure).
