Default Im probobly just stoopid, but i cant figure out...sfv

Well, most things i download, comes with a sfv, natulary i, as everyone else from time to time get a corrupted file, and have to reload it... now then, i have seen its supposed to be possible to have FFXP to do this on auto, by some sort of batch scripting.. but how ever i tried i just dident figure it out... Someone plz help out here..

What software is needed exept the FFXP one, and how do i "command it"

Thanks!
B!

(EDIT)
Oops.. forgot...
Im using 2.1 -924. So far its free, can i get it to do what i want... I'll go shopping..

Take care!

What you could try to do is write a cmd/bat script that'll sfv check your files. You could make it start using the "Sounds" settings in the options. they will run any application. i don't know however if there is any options to pass filenames or directory as arguments to your script, since this is an undocumented feature...

maybe anyone else has more information...

[*] Added program execution after transfer complete.
To use this functionality you must add the following section to the FlashFXP.ini
[run]
app=<full\path\to\exe>
param=<any params you need to pass, use the %f macro to pass the filename>
show=1
show application window has two values 0=hidden 1=visible

Simple Example
[run]
app="c:\vscan.exe"
param="/scan %f"
show=0

Um, i can see how that atleast gets the soft to run the scan, ok, but does it make it reload the item in que if its NOT a ok file? or what?

Guess im just to stuppid :- )

-EDIT-
Not only am i stuppid, i forget a big part of the question...

What makes the software know exacly WHAT it should use for file to scan with? the SFV's do have different names i mean...

Mabey i should stick to something simple, like the ftp tool in windows commander, it does FXP and all, and SFV checking, just not on autopilot, witch is just as well, as you really cant trust total commander to keep a transfer going, it has a "somewhat" bad handling of the connection i guess...

Well, thanks for any / all help... Guess im just stoopid and cant figure it out....

no, that feature is mainly designed so you can run antivirus on your downloaded files.
however it's possible to run some SFV checking application on each file..it will look for .sfv files in current dir and check specified file.
however, as of now, beyond that you'll have to create custom app that will readd given file to FlashFXP's queue if it's crc check failed.

Way out off my league then.. if i was that good, i'd do it by the "execute comand when file transfer finish" and be happy about it...

I guess i have to keep on looking for something else..

Well, thanks anyway :- )
