Default Is this possible?

If there is an FTP server i want to connect to that's behind a firewall/router of some sort.. and my setup also has a firewall/router.. is there a way for me to connect to the ftp server w/o removing my firewall or router?
like.. changing settings within FlashFXP in conjunction with forwarding ports in the firewall or router? thanks

yes.
you will have to go "proxy/firewall/ident" tab and enable "bind local port range to" select a port range and forward that range in your firewall.

hmmm.. i just tried that with my firewall.. yet it works the same... basically.. the first connection i make to the server,, it gets a directory listing ok.. but then it wont allow any more connections after that...

when i set flashfxp to use only a limited set of ports.. should i make my firewall b triggered by the outgoing packet with the PORT of the server.. or should it be triggered by incoming to one of the specified ports? thanks
