Default Xbox linkup

G'day,
i'm a newbie and i am trying to connect my computer to xbox to download files. i have established a site thru the site manager, its just trying to get the right IP address is a problem. i make sure my xbox IPaddress is the same as on the site manager but it still won't connect. how do you connect them?

While I don't own an X-box and cannot answer your question with experience, I know that many users have resolved their Xbox issues in the past on these forums.

Click on the Search link atop of this page and type in " xbox " as your search query. You will certainly find your answer covered there.

I could possibly answer your question but this invovles the xbox needing to be chipped first. If you need anymore help on this let me know

Start > Run > cmd
ping xbox_ip_address

If you can ping it successfully, then try to FTP in.
If you can't, try checking your cable, your XBOX IP configuration (you can probably see the effective settings in the dash you're using). See the help file/online help for your dashboard. Or maybe xbox-scene.com. They have many tutorials such as this.
