Default flashfxp will not access dun connection/Sussed (I think)

I have just installed flashfxp 2 on a pc running win xp home.

The settings are identical to the ones I used previously when running win me.

When I click on a site to access, flashfxp will not automatically dial a connection, however if I am already connected to my isp I can access the site but flash fxp will not automatically reconnect when my isp disconnects, it always did on my win me system.

If I alter the proxy settings from 0 to any other, flashfxp will automatically dial out but all ftp's refuse a connection.

IE, Outlook Express, Cuteftp & Getright all automatically dial out and reconnect as required.

Can anyone help before I format my drive and reinstall ME?

Thx for any assistance.

Update On Above:

It would appear that if you access your dun as normal (click on dun icon) then start flashfxp everything will run as normal.

When your connection disconnects, in my case after 2 hours, it will automatically reconnect if flashfxp is still set to download.

I can only assume this is either a new feature of flashfxp or win xp, I'm not bothered either way but if anyone knows what the answer is I'd be grateful if you let me know.

Cheers.
