FlashFXP not logging out.
I am having trouble when i connect to an ftp, it works fine, but it's like my previous sessions doesn't log out.
I connect to an ftp with RaidenFTPd, and when i do a site who, that tells me which users who are online, it shows like over 5 connections from my user, even when i am only connected one time, and it shows me doing stuff i did a long time ago.
Btw. it's FlashFXP 2.0 Build 901.
Thanks!

is it just one specific site or all of them?
when you disconnect do you see "QUIT" command before "Logged off:..." message?

It's on all ftp's who're running RaidenFTPd, and it doesn't matter which os either.
Did it on Windows 2000, and is also doing it on Windows 98.
Like right now, if i go to the ftp i use the most and check, it says i'm logged in, like 5 times or such.

I conducted some tests with raidenftpd and it appears to log off correctly for me.

It happens to me also. If i open one copy of flashfxp and try to connect on both sides to ftp servers. When trying to connect to one ftp server and when it says too many users, instead of clicking on the red X (abort) i click on the click on Switch to local browser, i still see flashfxp trying to connect to that ftp server.
win2k sp3
902 legal
not sure what ftp servers i was trying to connect to.

I have a question.
If you connect to an ftp and then don't press quit and let it quit before exiting the program, could that be the reason maybe ?

That depends, If you exist while FlashFXP is busy it doesn't send quit. If it's not doing anything (idling) it sends quit.

Oh okay.
Thats the reason then.
But won' there be a future version that might be able to do it, ex. you could do so if it is doing something, then when you press the exit button, then it hides the window and performs ABOR, QUIT and stuff, and then exits....

why do you have the need to contastly reload flashfxp during file transfer?
are you in such a hurry that you don't have the time to click disconnect and then close?
many servers have a feature to kill ghost connections
if you put ! before your username it'll kill all other connections.

Not likely. Hidding the window is a bad idea in case something goes wrong and it's unable to exit.

Yeah, that's right. I can see that might be a problem.
