Default Auto and binary issues

In my filter menu option I dont have ".gif" as an entry, but still in auto mode gifs transfer as ASCII files, what could be the reason ?

Thanx in advance
Gaurav

What I meant was that there are some sites on the web hosting modified versions of FlashFXP, A modified version of FlashFXP will not perform as designed. The problem you mentioned is very common among modified versions of FlashFXP. It's nearly impossible to get these sites to shop hosting FlashFXP.

If you downloaded FlashFXP directly from our website then it would be authentic.

If .gif is not in your ASCII list then I have no explanation as to why it's being transfered as such in auto mode. It's working correctly for me and several people I had test it.
