Default What is Sites uses IP Masq/NAT/Non-Routable IP for?

Hi!

I have noticed that with some ftp servers if I don't enable this connection option, I cannot list a directory or even connect.

Does anybody know what this option does internally? It's doesn't seem to send any command to the server when you use it either.

Thanks

This option is intended for sites that incorrectly report their IP in PASV replies. By checking this option the IP in the PASV reply is replaced with the correct site IP.

If people correctly configured their FTP servers this wouldn't be a problem.
