Default internal texteditor + file-open-mode

hi,

ich use flashfxp's editor to edit local files. the strange thing is, that the editor doesn't notify me to save a file if i leave it.
with remote-files (i know they are cached locally) it DOES notify me and asks me to save the modified file.

another thing is, that if i upload a file, it seems that other applications can modify it while i am uploading!
that's not a very good as i think of access-databases etc.
(in fact i had an opened a database that i was uploading and it resulted in a currupted file on the server)

other applications should only have read-only acces to a file flashfxp is uploading.

Which version/build of FlashFXP are you using?

The latest release v1.4 build 830 should correctly prompt you to save a file on exist.

FlashFXP does not restrict external applications from writing to a file that is currently being uploaded.

And here is why, In some cases the file may be open by another application for read/write which will prevent FlashFXP from opening the file for read access + deny write.

Default new Option?

i'll try the newest version.

the write-deny would cause a sharing-violation sometimes. this is right. could you introduce another option - something like "safe upload" or somethin?
I'm a little paranoid now - i never noticed this fact before.

After further consideration I have decided to change this.

Future versions will deny write access to the file during upload.
