Default quick connect icon dissapiers
I am useing ver. 2.1 build 924 and when i use the quick connect icon(lightning bolt) to connect to a server and then "unplug" from the server, i dont get the icon back to connect to another server untill i restsart the app, any ideas? other than F4

By unplug you mean psychically disconnecting the cable? In such instances there is no notification to inform the client that the connection has been broken.

Can you press the disconnect button?

unplug, I mean the icon. I just dissconect from the server with the icon not my cat5. I have tried a reinstall 2 times.... i still git the same thing i am running windows 2k pro on a 1.2gig amd

I've been trying to think of a possible reason for this and I haven't been able to come up with a valid explanation.

Does this problem occur with all sites?

I have exactly the same problem.
This happens with all sites!

WindowsXP Pro SP1a with all updates installed.
700MB free RAM. 100GB free HD space. So that can't be the problem I guess....
FlashFXP 2.1 build924

I have an idea what might be happening here.
FlashFXP doesn't completly disconnect.
1] Toggle left tree display
2] connect
3] Site displays correctly
4] browse a little around on the ftp site
5] disconnect

Now you notice the following things.
1] only 'left tree display' gets cleared. The main window still lists the ftp site contents
2] The quick connect icon stays greyed out
3] Disconnect again and flash reports its diconnecting. (but already should be disconnected.

I don't know if it's a related problem but I used FlashFXP 1.9xxx until a while ago. Never had problems and have 'many' ftp sites bookmarked. Never had any connection problem.
I upgraded/installed over the old copy and am now using the imported bookmark file.
But 70% of the times I try to connect I don't get a listing.
Looks very similar like wrong passive/nat settings.
But I connect from a bookmarked site that worked 1000's of times before with the same settings.
