Default multiple ips

FlashFXP v[2].[1], build [923], [x]registered, [ ]unregistered, [ ]pirated
* OS [x] WinXP, [ ] Win2K, [ ] Win98, [ ] WinME, [ ] Other
* Running behind NAT/router [x] Yes & Model [netgear 311], [ ] No, [ ] Not sure
* Running firewall [ ] Yes, Name [ ], Ver. [ ], or [x] No
* Running Antivirus [x] Yes, Name [NAV] or [ ] No
* Network [ ] xDSL, [x] CABLE, [ ] Dail-Up, [ ] Other

i searched for this question b4 and i cant really figure out a solution, i have 2 Nics one has a Pivate ip <192.x.x.x> and the other is directly connected to my cable modem, both have internet access, btw

anyways. when i try to bind to the external ip (under the firewall/proxy tab) and i try to connect to anywhere is gives me this...

Connecting to
Connection failed (Connection timed out)
Delaying for 60 seconds before reconnect attempt #1
Connecting to #1
Connection failed (Connection timed out)
Delaying for 60 seconds before reconnect attempt #2
Connecting to #2
Connection failed (Connection timed out)
Delaying for 60 seconds before reconnect attempt #3
Connecting to #3
Connection failed (Connection timed out)

and yes im sure its the right ip and yes i know the site works

ok here is another weird thing..
i decided to try the beta for the heck of it and that allowed me to connect but it used the LAN connection not the WAN, that i selected

so im confused

The "bind to the external ip" feature doesn't work properly in the current beta releases.

It does however work correctly in v2.1 final.

It sounds like this might be a routing issue

it works fine off of either line
if i disable the LAN it works
if i disable the WAN is works
if i have bind to ip unchecked it works
but if i try to put the IP address of the WAN in the bind box i get timed out
