Entering FTP Info into Site Manager
Say, for example, that you have this address:
f*p://username:password@123.456.789.123:456/this/is/a/directory/path
If you copy and paste it into the Quick Connect window, FlashFXP looks right past the f*p. In the Site Manager, however, it seems to be left undealt with, as the entire thing is pasted into the IP Address field.
I'm running a registered and legit copy of FlashFXP 2.1 build 924 on Windows XP w/ SP1. I can post some screen caps if anybody wants them, but I don't think that it's necessary.
EDIT: Disabled smilies

I know it's not flashfxp's fault, I was just wondering why my copy was being inconsistent. But... you're saying that it works. Which confuses me greatly. Any idea why there would be a discreptancy?

no i dont know really. im running build 922 atm. i will update to 924 later today when i get some time and see what happens from there. But it shouldn't be a problem as the only change from 922 and 924 was a small bug with unregistered versions.
so the link you provided here gets pasted as one entire line in the IP field, correct?

That is correct. I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like, I'm sure you'll notice that there are some blank spots, don't worry about those. That was just a bit of editing, as I don't really want to announce the contents of my HD to the world.
That's what happens when I enter it with ctrl + v.

I know what you mean, but that isn`t the bug that I`m trying to point out. My point was that although the link posted works perfectly in the Quick Connect window, it does not work in the Site Manager window, which is what I posted the screenshot of.

i belive quick connect parses url based on existance of ://
where's site manager requires full ftp://
the fact that quick connect accept f*t:// and site manager doesn't, doesn't mean it's a bug in flashfxp...

I would say that the lack of consistency, in itself, is the problem. If both Quick Connect and Site Manager were to reject it, I wouldn't ever have posted this. The "bug" in this case is really just the lack of consistency.

you are correct the method of detection is different, there was a reason for this but it currently escapes me.
