Default multiple flash not using all ram...

Hello,

I find it kind of strange that on a 512mb machine using windows xp or 2000 professional that I can only open about 20 flashfxps.
It stops just before 256mb of ram is in use. After that it fails to open or gives errors. What is even worse is the fact you can't open explorer or anything else.
Close down to 19 and I can open a couple other windows.
Does anyone know if there is some limitation at 256mb?

I will keep searching but not seeing anything else reported like this right now.

Thanks
PG

Bigstar will be able to give you a better answer, but on a number of times i have actually run my system clock of the tray. i didn't count how many i had open, but at 1024x768, thats a few more than 20. i had no problems with this. (only done that a couple of times). My sys is a 2.4 P4 with 1.0GB RDRAM though

You're limited by system resources, not memory.

Windows has a fixed resource limit that does not depend on your system hardware.

Once all of the resources have been used you wont be able to open any more applications until you close some.
