Default Uploading problem

Using build 1487, when uploading a file, it will always show the upload speed in multiple of 25.6KB/sec. Why is that and how can I uncap it? My upload speed is supposedly to be around 200KB/sec, but it's either hovering around 25.6KB/sec or 51.2KB/sec

Any ideas?

Did you experience this issue with previous builds or is this something that appeared in 1487?

What type of transfer are you performing FTP, FTP SSL, or SFTP ?

Please try multiple sites to determine if the problem effects all sites or just a specific one and let me know the results.

I have tried 1486 and now 1487 still the same. It's either 25.6 kB/sec or 51.2 kB/sec. I don't have any other sites to test so I cannot confirm this. My upload speed might be slow recently, but even so, the upload speeds should be dynamic and not fixed in multiples of 25.6 right?

Also, I found that retry connection delay if set less than 5, the minimum will still be 5 seconds. Is this normal?

If you activate the transfer graph (via the main menu, view -> graph) what does it look like, perhaps your upload speed isn't consistent and fluctuates.

I tested changing the retry delay to 1 second and it works fine.

Yea the retry delay is now fixed. Seems like the settings will only apply upon application restart. Same for number of retries.

This is my transfer rates. It seem to be in blocks, is that normal? http://img715.imageshack.us/img715/9480/54085316.jpg

Depending on your ISP and your internet connection it can be considered normal, there are a number of factors involved.

One setting you can try adjusting is located in the Preferences dialog > Connection section, TCP/IP Buffer size. Change this value while not connected to a server, otherwise you'll need to reconnect to the server to have it take effect.
