Default SFTP upload bug?

When I use SFTP to upload a file, if the server does not have enought disk space, it reports that all the file size is uploaded completely, no any error message. but indeed, it only uploaded part of the file. this problem also exists in previous versions.

I don't know what the server software is, here the ftp connection messages:

Host key algorithm ssh-RSA, size 1024 bits.
[R] Fingerprint (MD5):
[R] Key exchange: diffie-hellman-group1-sha1. Session encryption: aes256-cbc, MAC: hmac-sha1, compression: none.
[R] Auth Type: Keyboard-interactive
[R] Authentication failed. Keyboard-interactive
[R] Auth Type: Password
[R] Authentication succeeded
[R] SSH Connection open
[R] Connection established with OpenSSH_3.5p1 (SFTP v3)
[R] SFTP Connection Ready

when i use filezilla, it can let me know the transfer was failed.
