But the "Whats new" button on the update doesnt do anything when i tried to update from 1010->1014

ffxp is now installed in C:\Program Files\FlashFXP

Default Fast file transfer progress updates

Greetings,

Is it just me or does the "Fast file transfer progress updates" (Options ->display) seem not to have any effect? No matter if i check/uncheck it, the status/speed/remaining time, still updates very quickly.

Yes, I noticed that if one has simply copied an installation from
computer #1 to Computer #2 without having actually ran the original
installer - this "glitch" still occurs.

After having updated computer #1, i simply copied that installation over to computer #2, and it is now updated as well.

see this:
http://forum.flashfxp.com/showthread...&threadid=4703

I had no idea that this would occur- hehe - ah well, live and learn.

By the way, excellent job on FlashFXP

I tested this option and it appears to be working correctly.

When the option is disabled the status is updated 4 times a second. Versions 2.x and below only updated once a second.

When this option is enabled the progressbar is updated everytime a packet is transmitted or received.

The update installer relies on the registry keys created by the full installer. Without the keys the update is unable to determine the location of your FlashFXP installation.

I also see no difference with the fast display option.

Help file looks very nice I only had a quick look but will look more later.

This version expires same time as 1011 31 july.

Please reinstall full version of RC4. Your upgrade should work after that.

I really like the help file.
I dont know if its on purpose, but I also think that a user can click on "ok", "cancel", etc in the help file is funny

I found a few bugs in it,

I have Mozilla FireFox set as my default Internet Browser, but FFXP's help file opens MSIE.

in:

Help->Help->Online Services
The newest information from www.FlashFXP.com

Support->Contact
The webslinks are the same as above, where as the email links works as they opens Thunderbird which is my default email app. and not MSOE.

Support->Support Forum
Same url issue.

How To's->Configure ProFTPd to allow FXP
You can download the latest version from www.proftpd.org

Same url issue.

How To's->Configure wuFTPd to allow FXP
You can download the latest version from www.wu-ftpd.org

Same url issue.

How To's->Configure MS IIS to allow FXP
Note, this DOES open your system to a port attack as discussed here.

"here" is the url issue.

Purchase
Please visit https://oss.azurewebsites.net/purchase.php to order your copy today!

Same url issue

Acknowlwdgements
(http://www.openssl.org) & http://scrow.cjb.net

Same url issue on both

Make it stop wanting to use MS Insecure Explorer.

There may be other links that I missed, sorry for that.

I may be wrong but if the format of FlashFXP's help file is .chm then IE will be open if you run one of these files (or if you access it through some program, like FlashFXP). That's because .chm files are based into some Internet Explorer component.

The another fileformat for the help file should be considered
