rc3 1003 delay after every file in PASV mode

First, latest current release 2.1 (924) downloaded and installed yesterday works fine, fast in this mode. no problems.
rc3 (1003) pauses approx. half a second after every file is transfered from one remote machine to another. Very noticible difference between 2.1 and rc3 on folders full of very small files. 2.1 screams while rc3 goes tick...tick...tick...

setup is:
both versions downloaded from your website
both in trial mode (within time limit)
os Win XP Pro
anti-virus Norton corporate
firewall none
network:
seperate nic card for company lan(internet)
lan card(local) connecting to D-link DI 624 (router)via ethernet 100 and 2 xbox's connected ethernet 10. PASV supported on xbox ftp
all static IPs 192.168.xxx.xxx
all settings default

Exactly where during the transfer do you notice the delay? Can you please indicate the ftp session status message you see before and after the delay.

Just so I'm clear you're performing a FXP (site to site) transfer?

yes, site to site on a local network

also forgot to mention. if, while I have the window open, I move the mouse around the screen it will not delay between files and will work at 2.1 speed. but as soon as I stop moving the mouse, it will resume the delays between each file. again, only in site to site. xfer strait to box is fast as normal.

here are four logs of transfers. the same files. one xfer with no mouse movement, the other, moving the mouse constantly.
visible pause is after the [L] 226 tranfer finished.... message

destination folder deleted after each time
very easy to duplicate
ran twice

Thank you for your bug report. I believe I isolated the problem and this will be resolved in the next release.
