Default New buttons are confusing

My initial impressions of version 2 are that the buttons at the top are confusing. The refresh, transfer selected and transfer queue buttons are all far too similar and its too easy to get them mixed up. The GO button from the previous version was much better and the transfer selected button was also better before (cant remember what it looked like though). Please can we have more distinct buttons that look more like the old ones?

On a plus note I do like being able to password protect the site manager.

Also is there a plan to introduce bandwith throttling which I really miss from when I used to use leechftp? This is very useful when you dont want to use all your bandwith when using FTP so you still have some left for surfing.

bandwidth throttling has been available for ages. Options/Preferences/Transfer/Obey upload or download speed limit.

ok, thanks but it would be much easier if you could dynamically change it on a queue by queue basis from the queue window (this is how it worked in leech and it was very flexible).

I'm inclined to agree. I prefer the older buttons. Kinda got used to them.

Have to agree on the "GO" button.. This new icon is slightly confusing, but I guess it's only a matter of getting used to it.

mmm, i just finish downloading RC1 and yes, the buttons have changed, but in a couple of minutes you'll recognize it without problems

My first impression it's that new build is more stable than the old ones, good work

i hav 2 agree with u the new buttons are a real negative.

most of the buttons i need to hang my mouse over to make sure they are wot i really want to press.

Maybe an option for old buttons in the next release :P

cos these are really horrible, sowwy

Well unfortunatly the way FFXP is written there is no way to have an option for either button (going by what im told).

So its either the new or old, and from the looks of things we are sticking with the new.

We could hold a poll/vote, but this isnt very acurate as it does not give a chance for all of the user to vote, and of course in the end its the author's decision.
