Local speed limited to ~1000kb/s

Strange problem that has appeared recently.
When downloading from local servers speed is limited to ~1000kb/s
This does not happen with standard ftp client that comes with windows for example. I do believe it has started somewhere in the later builds.

Any ideas?

Few questions as per usual...

What build are you running ?

What OS ?

Firewalls, etc ?

What FTP Server are you connecting to ?

Which ftp server software are you downloading from? If FlashFXP and RaidenFTPD are run locally there seems to be some sort of performance issue. I know Serv-U & IIS doesn't have this problem.

Also make sure you don't have speed limiting enabled (Pref / Transfer Tab)

Ah, I see. I am currently running RaidenFTPD, it's the only ftpd for windows systems I find good.
Well, it isn't a very big problem and perhaps it will be solved in the future, thx.
