As a matter of fact there is a feature I would like to see added before I purchase your product. Don't get me wrong it is very stable and well designed but I transfer files to cable users such as myself and 1 option that this software is missing is "Auto Resume". Its great the the software will autoconnect but what good is that without it resuming the download ? I really see no point in reconnecting to someone if its only for idle time. The purpose is for when no one is at the PC and yet if there is an issue I can be assured that the program will reconnect and begin the download right where it left on all on its own.

Lightbulb auto resume

is there any chance that there be a auto resume on file transfer added to work with the reconnect. IE: FXP auto reconnects then waits for answer from you which is no good when you are doing a large transfer while you are away from comp.

Default Dum di Dum

1st of all let me say that the new help files looks awesome, seems simple to follow even for new users
----------------------------------------------------------

KrAkEn & Slam
In options->prefs->general, set the "retry count" high, to like 100 or so.
In options->prefs->transfer, set the "restore broken transfers" high to like 100 or so.

In options->files exists rules, set FFXP to:
autoresume if file is smaller
autoskip if file is equal or larger

when you have files loaded in que, then right click in the que window to transfer files

on FTP:
if you are disconnected from the site youre connected to, FFXP will try to reconnect and resume from where you got disconnected.

on FXP:
if you are disconnected from either site youre connected to, FFXP will try to reconnect and resume from where you got disconnected.

Hope this helps ya both
It works for me, like a charm

Yeah, the help file looks great; too bad I'm fairly familiar with FlashFXP now. I sure could have used them when first jumping on the proggie.

Yes some should definately take a look at the help file more often *cough* KrAkEn *cough*; you never know what you'll find in there.

RC3 is lookin good to me; I haven't really had many probs at all since RC1. Keep it up.

Thumbs up

yap i like it very much, clear overview, running stable, very good help file.

perhaps you can add this, but only as minor update plannings:

Setting the ftp client type

CLNT Client_Name Version

After the ftp client sends the command to the RaidenFTPD , the RaidenFTPD can recognize the ftp client type and display it in the server monitoring console

keep up your good work =)

Thumbs up Looking good

I haven't posted in awhile, almost since you moved from using yahoo groups unofficially. I haven't had any websites or any reason to use flash fxp for awhile, but I have started a new website and I have to say flash fxp has come a long way! I like all the new features, looks, etc. It was well worth the purchase price and nowadays it's hard to find something that has such good quality and service. Keep up the good work.

Unhappy Raw command

Hi,

I use FlashFXP for a few years now, and i finally decided to get legit version, cause i really think it deserves the price !

I'd like to say that i use a lot the Raw command (ctrl-R) and each time i use this feature, i have to check the "Display results in a edit window", it becomes annoying ... could it be possible to set an option like "always show results in a edit window" ?

I need to change font in the Edit window after a Raw command, but sometime, it doesn't accept to use a font, i mean it writes a few lines with the good font, and then continue with another one ... ugly

FlashFXP rocks
