Default maximum filez size when downloading from Server 2003

Trying to download 1x 14GB-file from a windows server 2003 - but it fails when I get over xx GB.

Cant resume etc.

Is this a limit in FlashFXP or Microsoft Server 2003?

I AM downloading to and from a NTFS-partition.

My guess is that it's a ftp server error. FlashFXP can handle files much larger than this. 64-bit sizes.

If it's indeed a IIS FTP-server you're trying to download from there is no need to write to Microsoft (and yes, please be abit more mature and call it Ms, M$ is for kids ), because this is a known limitation of their server.

Well i can't find an URL very quickly but i do seem to remember that i looked up this problem before. Also a session log would be very handy to be sure.

if it is a 32-bit file size limitation (which it likely is), the limit is 2^31, or 2,147,483,648 bytes.

we already identified the problem is likely the microsoft server. meaning that though it is reading off of a 64-bit filesystem, it's in-memory or transfer size is limited to 32-bits.

the original question was about what the exact size limit was. regardless of which component actually has the limit, the limit is likely 2^31.
