I have mutiple computers on my network and I'd like to access the programs on them. Windows File Sharing doesn't work from some reason, so I'd like to use Flash to do so.
I have their IP addresses; what else do I need?
I also use Flash to transfer file between my xbox with out problems.
FTP protocol is CLIENT/SERVER one.
you have a CLIENT connect to a SERVER.
FlashFXP is a CLIENT. therefore you need to have some ftp SERVER running on a computer you want to connect to.

So there's no way, what so ever, that I can use FlashFXP to connect to a computer, on my LAN, and transfer files back and forth; with out installing addtional software on the connecting PCs?
FlashFXP is a Client. you need a FTPD Server installed on one of the Machines, which allows FlashFXP to connect to it, then transfer files to/from any of them (taking into account that the shared dir/ are setup on the server pc running the FTPD
If the computers that you are trying to access are running e.g. Windows 2000 or 2003 server, then there is an ftp service already installed which you can enable in System Services option. This way, you can give every user access to their home directory and even more.
