"530 Not logged in, only one session from same IP allowed at a time."
Original Post Here
I get 530 Not logged in, only one session from same IP allowed at a time. even if I only have 1 session at an FTP? I get this quite a lot on FTPs that only allow you to connect once only simultaneously.
Is it something with my FlashFXP, router, etc.? Because I am 100% I am only connected once, but I guess something is caused so that the FTP "thinks" I am connecting twice or more.
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

if you are allready logged in once, then your not going to be able to login a second time.

Um I can't believe I receive the same response once again.
I already said I'm only logged in ONCE; after a few minutes then the server notices this and then lets me in once again; just that I disconnect because of this issue which gets annoying and sometimes after I reconnect, I get a 421 (full).

Pardon me?
If I understand correctly, then yes, I can login after a little while but I don't see why the FTP server would all of a sudden think that I have 2 connections.

explain in detail on what your trying to do, maybe ive misread your post, but from what your saying, your logged in, then you try logging again with another ffxp window and recieve the 530 reply?

Okay, this is the scenario (although this only applies to certain FTPs for some reason, about 25% or so of the ones I download from):
--------------
I login to FTP site, download several stuff from there.
After a little while, I am disconnected because of a 530 error, even though I haven't touched anything! I didn't open new FFXP window to connect to FTP site again, etc.
So then FFXP handles it itself and tries reconnecting over time.
--------------
So the problem is that I get disconnected during a transfer, which in fact can be frustrating, but even more so when I try reconnecting and I get a 421 full error.

ok now i understand you a little better, it sounds like when you loose the connection, you leave behind a ghost connection, then after awhile that connection times out and you can login again. but before it does timeout you can't because the server only allows one connection per IP, so because the ghost connect is still in effect, thats why u recieve that 530 error.......
now there could be many reasons why you loose the connection, but for a first remedy, trying using "noop during transfer" and see that helps you...
and one last thing, a 421 error is when the server has the max allowed users connected, so until a free slot is free by someone else disconnecting, you will not be able to login

Doesn't noop during transfer send a sort of ping every little while during transfer?
