Default Upload drop to 0 and stall...

--------------------------------------------------------------

I have had this problem with older versions as well, and I think I started with v2.0. What happens is most uploads are fine EXCEPT the first one...or if I have been connected a while.

Either case, the upload progress bar will fully upload to about 99% and then drop the speed to 0 and stall. FlashFXP will then require 3 clicks of the 'disconnect' button to break the connection. The file will either not exist, or be about 50% tranfered if you check the server.

Most annoying. Any ideas?

either enable PASV mode
or
forward some ports on your router for ftp data connections

Hi

I have been having the same dilemnas with stalls in the middle of uploads.
These stalls are quite lengthy. Absolutely crippling my capacity to upload.

I enabled PASV.

The router is shared with neighbour. Any hints on how or which ports to enable as suggested?

Thanks
David

jhave, start a new thread, don't hijack somebody else's problem.
based on what you posted you DO NOT have pasv mode enabled. also your session log doesn't show any errors

sorry, i didn't think of it s 'hijacking'
i thought of it as 'sensible consolidation of solutions to similar problem under single thread'
but i will start new thread
and yes i do have PASV enabled
probably i need to restart fxp for it take in settings?
