We ran into several unexpected issues with the initial release of 4.2.1.

Build 1744 was pulled from the site after being informed that the issue was not fixed.

Several issues while not obvious to me or my beta team became quite apparent immediately after release.

The most critical issue was a memory buffer overwrite in the dns lookup routine. An issue that has plagued us since adding IPv6 support back in v4.0 (Where we switched to a threaded model for handling dns lookups). This resulted in random lockups. Yesterday I discovered a situation that allowed me to reproduce the issue 7 out of 10 times, allowing me to determine the exact cause of the problem and address it.

I will continue to test this issue for the next few days to ensure that it is 100% fixed.
