Special characters for ftp password : FAILED

Hello,

I use special characters like ç à ñ é è... in my passwords, when trying to connect to my server by FTP.

With FlashFXP : My passwords don't work. But in a former version (can't remember which one...) it wasn't an issue.
Using Fillezilla : it works...
Using AjaXplorer (web ftp) : it works...

So I think, FlashFXP doesn't recognize the special characters like the Europeans' characters with accents.

Could you please correct that ?

I can't change ALL my passwords (too many) and as a registered user of FlashFXP I'm so sad to... have to come back and use Fillezilla until the bug is corrected...

What version/build of FlashFXP worked correctly?

I will look into this issue today and make it my top priority.

I tested with a couple different FTP servers using a password of AçBà CñDéEè (as well as several different combinations) and I am not able to reproduce the issue.

I am not quite sure what to make of this issue.

Are you using FlashFXP stable (4.1 build 1730) or beta (4.2 build 1734)?

I'm using now FlashFXP 4.2.0 (build 1730) and formerly I think I used the version 3.6 (which was OK with the specials characters)

The password contains : é è and ù characters.

I happen to have an account on dreamhost, I will test directly on dreamhost and get back to you.

If needed I can sent you by PM the new password I used for my test and the user's infos.
This password with special characters, don't work with FlashFXP, but works with Dreamhost's webFTP access tool (AjaXplorer). It also works with Filezilla...

The password is copy/paste so no error of typing is done.

Just unzip the flashfxp.exe into your FlashFXP program folder.
