Default automtic conversion of line endings

I just noticed that FlashFXP (3.6.0 b1240) automatically converts line endings from CRLF to LF if you upload a plaintext file from a windows client to a linux server.

so far so good, BUT if you download a CRLF file (which was uploaded by another FTP-Client that doesn't care about line endings) FlashFXP converts the LF to CRLF and you end up with CRCRLF which duplicates every newline.

I dont know whether this is a bug or a feature, but can this 'behaviour' be configured, or even better, just switched off?

Thanks in advance for any hints on this topic ..

This is the behavior of ASCII mode file transfers, the simple solution is to set FlashFXP to transfer all files in Binary mode. This can be done via Options > Preferences > Transfer Tab > Transfer Mode

Many thanks for the quick answer. The tranfer mode was indeed the problem.

I believe the conversion happens on the server side, so its not even a FlashFXP issue ..

In any case, converting CRLF to CRCRLF is just stupid.
