ln -s "path" "link" help needed...

This command ln -s "path" "link" has been used before on the server. I am making new sites and I need some symlinks in the new folders I´m making.
I hane no idea how can I use the ln command. Is there any way to do it?

ln command is a shell command. you use it when you connect to your server with telnet or ssh, not ftp.
