I have the same problem attempting server to server transfer. I don't even have that probelmatic hotfix on my machine.
I tried disabling XP firewall and AVG and iI get this in the status window:
[R] PASV

[L] 200 PORT command successful
[L] STOR 4.jpg
[L] 425 Unable to build data connection: Connection refused

I then tried a different receiver server and everything just hangs in the queue.
What can be wrong?
Thanks

Do you mean in the transfer tab, check uploading (PASV) box and downloading for the destination site?
I tried that with no success. Thanks

In addition if I try to copy over a direcory with nested directories within it, then they are successfully created on the destination server, but contents are nto transferred if that helps at all.

directories transfer works because it's a simple command "mkdir xxxxxx".
file transfer is a totally different process.
post timestamped session log with alternative fxp enabled.
and don't you think you should buy flashfxp by now? build 1149 is over a year old..your trial period expired a long time ago.

In addition to MxxCon's remarks..
Build 1149 was a beta release and we do not support old beta releases, simply because newer builds often fix problems in those releases.
You either need to use v3.4 final or the latest beta release which is currently v3.6 RC1.

i think your BT Voyager router is screwing up with fxp trasnfers.
try to temporarily remove it from your network and see if that makes any difference
and FFS, buy flashfxp. stop using warez versions!

I'm not sure if you're aware of this but your issue is completely different than the original issue reported in this thread. You should of posted this as a new thread.
Originally I thought your problem was with ftp transfers and them hanging at 16kb, clearly thats not even close. I split your thread to a new one.
In addition build 1197 contains some known problems that were resolved in later builds, 3.6 RC1 build 1200 is the latest public release.
More than likely these ftp servers simply do not allow site to site file transfers.

That must be it - both are budget hosts.
