Default Connection Problems

Hi,
Thanks for any suggestions. I have several sites set up with the same host provider. 3 are already have set up in FlashFXP under sites and they are connecting just fine.

At the moment I'm trying to set up a 4th site and it simply will not connect. I know I have the right information added. I even went to the host provider and signed in just to be sure.

I turned off my firewall and my virus protection to see if either or might be causing trouble but nothing is making any difference.

So any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Jill

i'm not too familiar with MS ftp server messages but it sounds like you either have wrong login/password info or your ftp account is disabled...you should contact administrator of that server and show them this that error..

Hi
Thanks for taking a look. Im 100% sure the user name and password are correct. I can sign in to Go Daddy and uploat the files that way, but that is not what I want to do, I will show them the error message Im getting.

if you say that you have correct login info, there is nothing you can do with flashfxp to fix this..no settings to change. it could be that server is misconfigured for your ftp account.

although, does your password have any special characters that flashfxp might stubble on?
try connecting using regular ftp.exe from command line.
