Default data folder , another place ?

Is it possible to let the data folder be on a webserver instead ?

Like having it on a ftp for instance

Lets say i want to place the data folder on a webserver instead on the local machine , is this possible ?

you can't have it on a webserver, but you can have it on a remote server and share using regular windows file sharing.
